Satoru Yamamoto, Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and Executive Officer at Dentsu Digital, spoke at "AWS Summit Japan 2025," held from June 25 to 26, 2025.
AWS Summit Japan is a leading cloud conference in Japan focused on AWS (Amazon Web Services), offering the latest insights into AWS’s services. The event featured over 160 sessions, including keynote speeches, as well as an Expo area with exhibitions from a variety of companies.
At the session titled “Enhancing Advertising with Conversational Data Utilization via Amazon Bedrock Agent,” Yamamoto spoke alongside Shun Maekawa, General Manager of the Data & Technology Center at Dentsu Inc. Together, they explained methods for extracting insights from marketing data and utilizing them—leveraging “Amazon Bedrock Agent” and data analytics technologies.
The session covered how to read customer behaviors and interests from chat data, key points for designing marketing strategies tailored to each target group, and approaches for achieving deeper advertising effectiveness analysis by combining first-party data with various external data using “AWS Clean Rooms.” They also described how to create improved advertising creatives using “Amazon Nova” based on analytical results. Finally, they highlighted collaborations between AWS, Dentsu Digital, and other Dentsu Group companies in Japan that are introducing AI agents to transform marketing operations.
